I have moved my posts from an old blog to this one and I have moved one month at a time.....I have been blogging far too long to post each one on a separate day. Enjoy the below post for the month mentioned in the tag line.

Circle Circle
Creating again finally. I have been on a creative binge but most of the work I have completed is for card and page kits....so you can only see those when the kits have sold out (if the items I used haven't sold out too that is....). I got three card kits and one page kit done over the weekend and one card kit is sold out already.

1 idea, 4 ways
The first card in this grouping of 4 is the original card using an embossing folder set from CUTTLEBUG. The other three cards are using the same design with a different folder and sentiment....and color combo.
The easiest thing to do when you are in a creative slump is take an idea you have used before and tweek it!

Back from vacation
You may have noticed a lack of posting of new crafty items this week.....I was on vacation. I had gotten a lot of projects done prior to our trip to CHA, but wasn't home long enough to get much done for my week of vacation. I did get this card done for the Thursday make & take two days ago.
We wanted to work with the Glimmer Mists after we got back from CHA....you see so many things that you just have to try...and there just isn't enough time in a day for all of it. Basically I stamped the image on the paper, cut it out adn then laid the stamped piece and the twill side by side on a splat mat and misted the entire surface. Let it dry and assembled the pieces. The Glimmer Mist gives it a nice little shine

I'm not Lion...
...I finally got a card made....hehe
Whew....I found a little time to create after being gone for almost a week at the big trade show in Chicago!!
Tons of layers with this card. There were so many pretty colors in the patterned paper I could not decided which to choose, so I guess I picked all of them. I took 1x1 squares of the patterned paper and took the corner of opposite ends creating a different shape. I saw the idea for this in the latest PAPER CRAFTS magazine issue that I picked up at their booth at CHA last week. The paper from "Origins" line from BASIC GREY is perfect for doing fun patterns. Gotta love double sided paper! I colored in the lion from my new JUST RITE set with the COPIC markers, so easy!
