Piestra Tile die from Memory Box

My latest toy: The Piestra Tile die from Memory Box.  So many possibilities with this die.....but so little time to play.  Hopefully I can get a few more cards made with this die, I just love it!

Graphic45 Halloween accordion card

I have made several versions of this card using Graphic45 papers.  This one tops the list of favorites for this design now!  Must be the vibrant blues and the pop of orange.

Spellbinders Star and Tree

Continuing with the dum dum holder idea, I made a couple more versions.....the fun just never stops when you play.

Spellbinders Dress Form Die and Paper Straws

Since I had so much fun creating the make & take projects from last week with the help of Leann and Amy, I had to make a few more of these fun projects for my nieces for Halloween....hopefully they won't be looking at this.  You may remember the straw (or pencil/pixie stix) toppers from a post a few days back.  I had to make some purple polka dot ones with the matching witches too.  Adorable!!

Dylusions Sprays

I had my Dylusions out the other day creating a new canvas....different from the one I posted yesterday and I must say, I love the new one even more!!  All it takes is some playing with your toys.

Mixed Media Canvas

I made a first attempt at a mixed media canvas with this layering project.  I liked the depth that the layers of stickers gave to the project.  Makes you want to touch it!

Haunted House

With the chilly air outside it is hard to pretend that fall has not arrived and Halloween is soon to come.

Three Trees

My original tree from a couple days ago has a couple friends.....two smaller trees to make this a nice tree trio!

Wine Cork Tree

Here is my version of the wine cork tree.  Simple used wine corks, buttons, small circles of patterned paper, some pearl topped pins and a nice piece of ribbon.  Hot glue the corks into a pyramid and decorate.

I saw this tree done at a booth at CHA this summer in Chicago and thought what a cute idea for a wine drinker...which I am not.  Still a cute idea.  I was on a mission to drink enough wine between CHA, which is in the middle of July,  and the Christmas Card Extravaganza, which was September 22, to make a tree.  Well, I only contributed two corks to this project, so I had to call in a few relatives who are wine makers to help me out.

Maya Roads Twine

We have bulk twine for sale by the yard and then we have some great spools of twine you can buy too....for those occasions when you need a LOT of twine.

This is the last of the Christmas One Sheet Wonderfuls.  This one you can see the difference between the two but still utilizing the same cuts from the ONE sheet of patterned paper.  The design works best if you have a contrasting design on either side.  Sometimes the sheets of paper have a double side with a similar color on the other and then it doesn't work as well to do this design. The bright dots and colorful snowflakes on the left side card contrast each other nicely, but still coordinate.  And the little snowmen and large white snowflakes on a green background the right side card still have enough contrast to make them stand out from each other.  Had the background been white on both sides you would not have the contrast.

Spellbinders and Twine

What is the difference between these two cards....besides the papers.....just how the middle is finished.  Instead of using a strip of paper on the one on the left I used twine to cover the empty area.  Simple changes to the same design make card creating quicker!

Tim Holtz Tinsel Twine

The coolest invention ever!  Lol, of course he didn't invent it, he just brought it back in his embellishment packs from this summer's new product release.  I LOVE this stuff!!

One Sheet Wonderful

One more version of the one sheet wonderful cards.  See the difference between the two with just a few added embellishments to make them different....plus the papers are different which make for a different look as well.

Don't get Your Tinsel In A Tangle

Here is another version of my One Sheet Wonderful class.  I took the same designs and did them in a different pattern and then added a few extra embellishments to make them a bit different.

Spellbinders

More cards from the Extravaganza.  This one has great bright colored paper and lots of Spellbinders dies.
