September 2012

The graduation page.  I didn't get this done before the party and I finally got around to getting this page done.  The background paper was custom ordered with his name and the graduation year.  I used most of it for the invitations and thank you notes but kept two sheets for Graduation photos.

DIE-NAMICS Mini's

Here we have a simple card put together with some leftover bits from my desk.  It is nice to get those little piles cleaned up off my crafting desk.

RockStar from Reminisce

My oldest decided to take up the electric guitar his senior year and took lessons for about 5 months before his teacher moved to Colorado.  On the night before the teacher left he had a "jam session" for his students to give them a taste of being on stage.  The journaling for this will go on the page after it hangs at the store for a while.

Be Amazingly Awesome today

I have a pile of these great cards from October Afternoon that I like to use for card fronts.  There are a ton of great themes to use available at the store, so stop by and see what would work for you!

Materials:
     Paper: October Afternoon (plaid)
     Crate paper: lacey card
Twine: the Twinery
Sticker: Jillibean Soup
Card: October Afternoon "Modern Homemaker"
Button: Jillibean Soup Macho Nacho

These cards are so much fun to play with...did I mention that?  Well, I love the antique themes of these cards and they work wonderfully with the vintage feel of these patterned papers.
