January 2009

I have moved my posts from an old blog to this one and I have moved one month at a time.....I have been blogging far too long to post each one on a separate day. Enjoy the below post for the month mentioned in the tag line.

Something old and something new

Isn't that what we all want to do? Use our older papers and embellies with the new stuff we just found at the store (and couldn't resist buying...lol) to make the perfect layout.
Well, I was a busy bee this weekend at a crop with friends and I was determined to use some of my older stash with my newer goodies.  Not everything you see above is available at the store, but you might just have some in your current stash.

I have always loved the acrylic letters and shapes.  Heidi Swapp and Making Memories had great acrylics!  I think I bought some of those letters over 3 years ago....but, they still look great.

Ok, so I didn't journal on my journaling card, but I usually don't put that info on the blog (plus I might just put the year of the trip in the space instead)...we'll see, I have to check out my supplies for more things I can put on there....

So, get out your old stash and find some of those little things you forgot about.

Mini Album

A Mini Album was in the works for me today...well, for a week or so actually....it's not like I have that kind of time.....lol
Fancy Pants Acrylic "Tabbed Book Set" has some cool little things along with the tab album you can create with.  There are plenty of little things in the package to add to many great projects.
To see the entire album you'll have to stop in the store to see the other pages.
